Terms of Service

Last updated: -05-11

These Terms govern your use of the OBG platform. By signing in, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

OBG hires verified human experts to deliver AI training and data briefs that we publish on behalf of AI labs and enterprise buyers who commission us. As an expert, you contract directly with OBG for the briefs you accept and are paid by OBG on a weekly cadence — OBG is your counterparty, not the underlying buyer. As a buyer, you contract directly with OBG for the experts and hours you commission.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction. You agree the information you provide during onboarding is accurate, complete, and current.

3. Account security

You sign in via Google OAuth. You agree to keep your Google account secure, to enable two-factor authentication, and to notify us promptly at security@outbreakglobal.com of any unauthorised use.

4. Acceptable use

  • You will not impersonate another person, misrepresent your credentials, or use multiple accounts.
  • You will not allow others to perform brief work on your behalf.
  • You will not use OBG to violate any law, the rights of any third party, or any buyer's documented requirements.
  • You will not attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.

5. Brief terms

Each brief on OBG carries its own published hourly rate, expected duration, credential requirements, and quality criteria. By accepting a brief you agree to deliver to those criteria. OBG reserves the right to withhold payment for hours that are not delivered, are delivered below stated quality criteria, or violate buyer requirements.

6. Fees

OBG does not charge experts to use the service. We invoice the buyer who commissioned the brief at our headline rate; the hourly rate published on the offer is paid to you in full, every Friday, via ACH, Wise, or PayPal as configured in your payout settings.

7. Intellectual property

OBG and its logos, design, code, and content are owned by OBG. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of the credentials you upload — granting OBG only the rights needed to verify them and match briefs to your profile.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. OBG does not guarantee that you will receive any specific number of briefs, level of pay, or particular quality outcomes on any brief.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OBG's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the service shall not exceed one hundred United States dollars (US$100). OBG is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Dashboard → Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, harm other users, or expose us to legal risk — with notice except where security or legal compliance prevents it.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
